OMS® ’s superior deburring process eliminates back plate sharp edges and prevents abrasion to webbing and BC’s and most importantly cuts. All harness systems can be utilized with single or double cylinder systems.

OMS ® is now offering four (4) Harness systems with bent D-Rings.

The OMS ® back plate is available in Aluminum (2 lb.) or Stainless Steel (6 lb.), incorporates additional slots to mount cam bands for Single cylinder configuration , slots to mount either a 1" or 2" crotch strap and a lower center slot to facilitate mounting on band bolts that are slightly misaligned (Fig.1)

Complete Back Plate / Harness Systems for 2006 include a one piece 2" harness with a 2" crotch strap (Fig.2), a harness with one (1) shoulder side release (Fig.3), and the Comfort Harness System ™ (Fig.4) that is quickly adjustable, comes standard with special shoulder pads and allows the back plate purist to customize his or her harness systems with any or all of the following optional components: 1. Secure Cummerbund 2. Back pad with integral stowage compartment for SMB (Surface Marker Buoy) or Lift Bag (Fig.5).

Lastly the form fitting fast adjust IQ Pack ™, (Fig.6), is capable of being utilized with or without a back plate (a back plate is recommended for doubles) and has webbing on the back for mounting cam bands for single cylinder usage. This system is ideal for the traveling diver.
