Why buy a dive slate made with break prone materials like cheap plastic pencils, plastic swivel snaps, thin plastic pages and UV susceptible latex tubing when you can purchase the OMS ® dive slate?

The 5" long x 3.5" wide slate is manufactured from virgin, break resistant heavy duty .035" thick LDPE, contains (6) pages and a heavy duty swivel snap with .27" O.D. Silicone tubing affixed to a solid Graphite Pencil. Clearly superior in every respect.

Wrist Slate

The OMS^® PVC wrist slate incorporates (3) writing surfaces. The base that curves around your wrist has (2) attached leaves that easily flip up for multiple writing surfaces. An elastic cord affixed to the solid graphite pencil prevents accidental loss, and a special clip system stows the graphite pencil. The elastic cords secure the slate and conform to the wrist area on your exposure suit.

CORROSTOP™ Corrosion Inhibitor has been chemically engineered to protect metal objects and equipment against the corrosive effects of fresh water, salt water and salt. It is a food grade, environmentally friendly product that is safe for use with oxygen service equipment! Applications: Scuba equipment (e.g. cylinder protection, inside and outside), valves, regulators, fishing, boating and vehicular equipment constructed of metal and subject to the corrosive effects of salt. CORROSTOP™ is particularly useful when rinse water is either unavailable or must be conserved. With similar and dissimilar metals, CORROSTOP™ inhibits anodic / cathodic deterioration and oxidation by:
* Stopping galvanic reaction
* Imparting a protective coating

CORROSTOP™ will, to some degree, repair past damage and prevent further corrosion when used as directed. CORROSTOP™ is safe for use with rubber and plastic products. CORROSTOP™ concentrate is available in a 32-ounce bottle and a 2-ounce bottle. Two ounces of concentrate makes one gallon of CORROSTOP™.

REBREATHER CO2 ABSORBENT

A007 - OMS^® carbon dioxide absorbent is manufactured by Molecular Products for Ocean Management Systems, Inc. Because the OMS® absorbent is harder it has a low propensity for creating undesirable and dangerous dust. Additionally, OMS® CO2 absorbent, when wetted, maintains its shape and has less of a tendency to turn into a paste. OMS^® offers two products suitable for use with almost every semi-closed and closed circuit rebreather system on the market. Absorbent recommendation is usually stated in the rebreather manufacturer’s user manual and must be followed.

Warning: Always follow the rebreather manufacturer’s recommendations for use of the proper type of CO2 absorbent product. Use of a CO2 absorbent not recommended by the rebreather manufacturer can cause excessive work of breathing, reduced scrubber time, hyercapnia and other problems possibly leading to personal injury or even death.

The OMS^® Dye marker is packaged in a water proof container rated to 330’ FSW, provides a highly visible fluorescent, environmentally friendly “dye slick” that lasts for 30 minutes and enables aircraft to quickly locate the lost diver. This “slick” can be seen for a mile or more. Current, wind and wave action will affect the shape and duration of the pattern. Meets MIL-SPEC: MIL-S-17890D.
